Darpan Video India — Stories That Preserve Our Heritage

Darpan Video India (DVI) is a Delhi-based independent video production house with a media legacy dating back to 1985. Over the decades, it has created and documented stories from India’s diverse worlds of cinema, history, tribal life, art, culture and heritage.

With a rich archive of footage and years of experience in research, scripting, filmmaking and television production, Darpan Video India is dedicated to creating original programmes that inform, engage and preserve India’s cultural and historical memory.

Our areas of focus include Indian cinema and its personalities, the lives and traditions of India’s tribal communities, historical narratives, performing arts, cultural heritage, travel and tourism, and interviews with people whose experiences and contributions deserve to be remembered.

Darpan Video India is now focused on developing and publishing its own original content for digital audiences. Through documentaries, interviews, short videos, archival features and specially produced programmes, we aim to bring valuable stories to viewers across generations.

Our programmes may be presented in Hindi and English and distributed through YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and other suitable digital platforms.
